WALT: Write a recount about our holiday

On Sunday  I went to Countdown. I did some cool things, like we went to buy chicken and some drum sticks. They were good, then we found a lot of toys.  We left the toy section and saw our Dad holding chocolate milk. We were trying to find our Mum , then we finally found her. Then we went to the reception  and my Dad said tile to the lady. And then we went home, after that we ate dinner. We had mashed potatoes and chicken nuggets and sausages and some salad with the mashed potatoes and gravy sauce. The food was really good and tasty.

I was learning to use the 5 Ws.

I learnt to write a recount.

It was tricky to write a recount on a chromebook because it's hard to type the punctuation.

WALT: Create a bar graph

I was learning to do a bar graph.

I learnt how to insert a table.

It was tricky to do because I  had to add colours.

WALT: Write a book review

I hate Charlie and the chocolate factory because the chapters are too long .  I also hate it because it has less pictures.

I learnt how to answer a question.

It was tricky to do because there was a lot of words.

WALT: Illustrate my favorite poem

THE LION           

Savage  LION in the zoo

Walks on padded feet

To and fro, to and fro,

He wants some food to eat

Then the large and tawny beast

Roars and looks at me

Shakes his mane

and shows his teeth 

                                                                    And wishes he was free.                                                         

                                                    I was learning to illustrate a poem.

                                                  I can  now type in a poem.

It was tricky to do because it is hard to insert a picture.

WALT: Create a collaborative piece of Art

I was learning  how to do collaborative art.

I know how to do patterns now.

It was tricky to do the "X" because  we had to do it straight.

WALT: Summarize the main ideas

I was learning to summarize the main ideas Now I know how to write a graphic organizer. It was tricky to summarize the main ideas because the photos were hard to take.

WALT: draw a volcano.

I was learning to draw a volcano. Now I know how to draw a volcano really easily.  It was tricky because we had to upload it onto our blog.
